It does not get any better than sailing a luxurious yacht in the Virgin Islands!! The Caribbean is well known for it’s consistent warm trade wind breezes, 80 degree turquoise water, white sand beaches, and amazing coral reefs.

Slipstream is a customized Privilege 51 foot Slipstream that has been designed for chartering. It offers exciting, but stable, no heel, sailing while pampering its guests in comfort. The rich cherry wood interior features a spacious salon, private guest cabins with private heads, and over 30 hatches and ports for airy ventilation

The superb indoor accommodations have the hallmark of European elegance and craftsmanship. Each of the four guest cabins have in-suite shower room with toilet.

The heads in the forward cabin has a separate shower area.

The 4th guest cabin is situated in the center forward of the salon.
While the bed is of full queen size headroom is minimal. This is best when singles, or children are part of the charter party.

The salon itself is designed around two large tables creating a feeling of warmth and comfort. The entire vessel has been designed with an emphasis on natural lighting and convenience.

Slipstream features a huge shaded cockpit with multiple seating and dining areas that includes large sun mats on either side of the cockpit. Up forward there are large trampolines and bow rider seats for relaxing, catching the sun, and watching the stars.

Captain Len Amato, owner of "Slipstream" hails from Denver Colorado. Len was a general contractor and custom builder. The only thing about Denver he misses is cheering on his Denver Broncos. Len started his diving career in 1990 in Honduras, after moving to Florida where he took up sailing. Len is a PADI dive instructor and an avid cave diver. He spent three years in Andros Island, Bahamas where he extensively explored the Blue Hole and cave systems of the island.

Len holds a USCG 100-ton master license, PADI Instructor Certification, FCC Marine Radio license and First aid/CPR Certificate. "Slipstream" is Len's dream come true. It is the perfect platform to provide safe, personalized dive/sail adventures. With an easy going nature and good sense of humor, coupled with his knowledge of the Caribbean, all you have to do is ask and he'll be glad to share all that he loves so much with you.

Chef Donna Baron brings a unique blend of talents and interests to Yacht Opus. She was raised in Philadelphia, became a New Yorker after graduating from Bard College with a dual degree in Political Science and Environmental Science and has explored the Caribbean for 35 years.

She fell in love with sailing on her first trip to the Buck Island National Park in the 70's - a trip that inspired her to learn to sail and then crew for a racing team on Lake Ontario.

As a Sensory Expert (trained by Sensory Spectrum in New York city) Donna specialized in analyzing flavors, textures and aromas of foods and beverages. She applied that knowledge while working as an events planner and personal chef for over 10 years in the Rochester area. Her cooking style reflects her passion for exotic cultures blending Caribbean, Indian, Thai and Japanese flavors to create a fresh and flavorful culinary experience for our guests on Opus.

Donna studied the martial arts for over 10 years and holds a black belt in the Korean art of Tae Kwon Do. She is a licensed massage therapist and is certified in first aid and CPR. Working on Yacht Opus has allowed Donna to successfully blend her passions while providing an unforgettable vacation experience for our guests!

Casually elegant breakfasts, lunches and cocktails are generally served outside on Slipstream's shaded aft deck. More formal dining is available in the evening in the yacht's main salon
